I have been busy lately being part of a very cool team giving workshops to other businesses. And it was FUN! I get such a kick out of the way eyes light up when people get the stuff you are talking about.
One thing that has become very apparent to me is that marketing is a hard sell.
Especially to New Zealand SME's, which to be honest is most of the businesses here. They don't value it, and they do not invest - read spend hardly any money at all.
So I think we need to change the conversation about what marketing is.
What if it was the glue that held everything together. What if it increased the value of your business, increased your sales, increased the effectiveness of your staff, made business plans easier to roll out -well you would do it right?
Well welcome my friend to foundational marketing.
Its the stuff that binds, it works out all the culture, the vision and the reason for doing and helps you infuse it through everything you do. And a whole lot more. And its fun to do. (who doesn't like discovering stuff about themselves?)
What is stopping you having a great foundation for your business and getting clear on your foundations for your business?
